04/Why Foxlume Query

Checks before every write

Why Foxlume Query

One wrong statement on production is one too many. Foxlume Query checks a statement before it reaches the database: a DELETE without WHERE asks first, a write on a Production connection asks first, and a read-only connection is refused by the server itself.

01Engines

7 databases

PostgreSQL and MySQL supported; MariaDB, SQLite, DuckDB, MongoDB and Redis in beta.

02Native

Swift, AppKit, SwiftUI

Every wire protocol is implemented inside the app. No Electron, no JVM, no drivers to install.

03Licence

Free software

GNU AGPL v3 or later. No account, no telemetry, no licence key.

How we build

How we build

Open source

Free software under the GNU AGPL. Read the code and build it yourself.

Native and light

Real macOS apps written in Swift. No Electron, no browser engine, no runtime to install.

Safe by default

Tools that touch your data ask before they do anything risky.

Honest status

We say what works today, what is in progress and what is only a plan.
